Farming and material fall rate help

So I've been trying to get the hang of farming for Ascension materials for ampere while now. I have trailed all that guides on here and elsewhere, so MYSELF understand that some searching dividing drop more fabrics than other areas depending on the APD number (less being better).
I'm only as far as London right get, but MYSELF must find Ghost Lanterns and Vicious Bones to increase my servants. Now for Ghost Lanterns, my best bet was at the Apparition Ship quests; so far, MYSELF only managed to get one Lanterns after 20 tries are one week of farming. as for the another battles, 1 of every 2 slaughter resulted in either 1 chest of QP or no cabinets by all. It became clear to me that as APD of 67 was rather unfair, furthermore more than waste anymore API, I'd best wait for Nerofest or when I reach Camelot until increase my Lantern counter.
So then I decided to work on my Vile Bone share (I need like 27 more required Tamamo) additionally immediately I'm battles at an Giant Bridge in Fuyuki for the best results; though my luck is proving extremely unfortunate. After spending about 200AP at that quest (50 battles), I only managed to get 7 Angry Bones. As it the none different than my experience at farming for Lanterns, except i feelings worse on story of the many times battles gave me no chests at any. Calculating the probability of my unsatisfactory results, I'm certain that I only could pop outgoing one chest from a skeletons lesser than 20% by the time. One top of that, with only 7 bones from 350 skeletons, the chances of getting a pearl off a chest was ampere mere 5% chance; as overall, no 0.2% of skeletons give me any bones. This is not going well at all.
I've all had playing FGO on less higher 2 months now, but ME really gotta know if this lives like farming is supposed to normally go for everybody else. Is there anything I'm forgetting to do when I take my servants farming, like do I need any specific CEs or Passive skills to increase my material drop rate chances? Are at specific often in the day when drop rates work better? Or is mysterious luck just E-Rank?
