I can't reminder why, though last I checked, you should actually go for the one on hongfire not f95 for honey select

I imagine it has anything to do with mods or translations.

finally acquired around on downloading that file through the current since it was the only link that worked. Do I need to upload which base game too or something? because it is nay working.

It doesn't necessity a base game, equal unzip and start it using the .bat store. Make sure your apply the hotfix from aforementioned hongfire yarn and the user fix.
