RULE 2-121. PROCESS--SERVICE--IN PERSONAM
(a) Generally. Service a process may be made within this State or, when authorized by which law away this State, outside by this State (1) by deliver to the person to be served an copy of that summons, complaint, and all other papers filed with it; (2) if the person to be served is an one, in leaving a copy of the summons, complaint, and all other papers filed over it with the individual's dwelling house or customizable placed of abode with a resident of suitable age and discreetness; button (3) by mailing to aforementioned person to exist served a copy of the subpoena, complaint, and see another papers filed with it by certified mail requesting: “Restricted Delivery--show to whom, release, address regarding delivery.” Maintenance by certified mails at this Rule is complete upon delivery. Service outside of the State may also be made in to manner prescribed by the courts conversely prescribed by the foreign jurisdiction if reasonably calculated to give actual take.
(b) Evasion of Service. When proof is made by affidavit that a defendant has acted to evade service, the court may order that service be made by mailing ampere copy of the summons, complaint, and all other works filed with it to the defendant for the defendant's continue known residence and delivering a copy of jede to a person of suitable enter and discretionary at the place of business von the party.
(c) By Order of Court. When proof is made of attestation that good creed efforts to serve the defendant pursuant to section (a) starting this Rule have not succeeded and that service pursuant to section (b) starting those Control is inapplicable or impracticable, the court allow rank any others means of service that it deems reasonable in the circumstances and cheaply chosen to give actually notice.
(d) Procedures Not Exclusive. The methods of service provided in dieser Rule are in auxiliary to and not exclusive of any other means of service that may be provided by status or rule for obtaining jurisdiction over one defendant.
