Wish and Spin Shimmer gets two thumbs up! My daughter's face lit up when we opened the package. The doll is brightly colored and cheery making it very appealing for little girls. Both of my girls love dancing and singing a long with Shimmer as she sings and spins, and they love brushing her pretty pink hair with the cute little brush it came with!! It also comes with a genie bottle necklace that has a button located at the top to activate Shimmer. The genie bottle has failed to work a couple of time but that is no big deal as Shimmer can also be activated with a clap of the hands! This doll is very engaging and encourages my girls to get up and dance around and be active and entertains them for long periods of time. They love this doll so much I am going to get them the Shine doll so they each have their own. We want to try out the feature of putting both of their genie bottles together and have them singing and spinning in sync! Overall a great toy, I haven't found any major issues and would highly recommend this doll to anyone with little girls! I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion. My 3 year old daughter was ecstatic when this doll arrived!  She could hardly wait for me to get it out of the box, which took a bit longer as it is VERY securely intact.  The doll is of great size, about 1.5 feet tall.  It comes with a brush and a wish bottle that has a nice neck lanyard and clicker on top to grant wishes!!  My daughter especially liked the dolls beautiful pink hair and head piece.  This doll talks, twirls around, and lights up as well as has hand motions that makes this toy very cool.  It has put a smile on my daughters face and gave her hours of new fun!!  I would recommended this doll to any little princess.  I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion. Shimmer and Shine

"A magic toy" my three and a half year old daughter called the Shimmer and Shine, Wish and spin doll. This toy made her very happy, her favorite thing is to sing along with the doll the themed song of the Shimer and Shine cartoon. Though the spinning part makes her excited every time. The doll is the perfect size for a three year old or older and it weights just enough to keep the doll well balanced while it spins around. It also comes with a hair brush to brush the dolls hair and my daughter spends a lot of time just doing that. The magic bottle that can be used to activate the dolls talking, singing or spinning features, it also can be worn as a necklace around your kids neck, it's very light weight and easy to put on and take off. The dolls features can also be activated by first pressing the jewl on the dolls necklace and clapping hands sound after that.  The doll also comes with batteries included and had a battery life saver by automatically shutting off after 30 seconds of non action or contact with the doll.  Over all, a very well thought toy for any kid and specially for our Shimmer and Shine T.V. show fans. My daughter had a blast playing with her. She sings and spins and my daughter joined along. It keeps her entertained. She did have a little trouble pushing the necklace button. Adorable!

I received Shimmer & Shine Wish & Spin Shimmer for free in exchange for a honest review.  My 9 year old and 4 year old both loved Shimmer so much.  My 9 year old can work her properly and make endless amounts of wishes. We have not had any problems with the doll not working. The directions were straight dorward and easy to understand. The 4 year old preferred to play with her without making wishes and it still made her extremely happy.  We brought Shimmer to show and tell at my daughters preschool class and the entire class was so excited.  This includes both the boys and girls, my daughters teacher said it was definetly the hot toy in the class room. Everyone wanted a turn!  I have included a video of my 9 year old play with Shimmer and some pictures of my excited 4 year old opening her.  This doll is made well and will provide endless fun. Fun way to make wishes for kids!

I got this item free to try for my honest review my daughter loves it keeps her busy for hours on end... The wish & spin shimmer doll is so cool she spins lights up and she moves her arms very cool I would have loved to have one when I was little.. Its very easy to use just click the magic bottle and the doll spins.. My daughter loves Shimmer & Shine & the toys don't disappoint. They're a bit heavy, but not flimsy or cheap. The bottle necklaces & the fact they fit together is brilliant!  They're a bit out of sync when in sync mode,but not noticeable by my 4 year old. That said their hair quality needs serious re-engineering. I combed the hair of one of the dolls out of the box & it's matted out of the box & after combing it. I expected Barbie-like hair from Mattel & Fisher Price & this fell short of that.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS ON THE FISHER PRICE WEBSITE!  I completed several  reviews and not one negative review was posted. The only reviews they post are positive reviews, mostly from individuals given free toys to review. 

 I am not sure if Fisher Price is trying to cut cost, or they are not aware of the quality of their products being made today; but their recent toys for the Nickelodeon shows, Paw Patrol and Shimmer and Shine, are cheaply made and very expensive. FP used to make great toys and some of their baby toys and other items are great, but not the Nickelodeon toys!
