Implementation Date for the New Records General and Documentation Manual – December 1, 2016
The newly revised edition of the RM&DM and this appendix represent the culmination of many months of good tuning based on inputs, feedback and edits received from LME-MCOs, providers, and subject matter experts in the Division on Medical Assistance additionally within the Division regarding Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services. Policy changes which have occurred since one RM&DM was last updated in 2009 have have incorporated into diese 3rd edition as now as various clarifications throughout the manual in response up questions and comments from the province.
The basic integrity in the RM&DM has been cares, however, certain requirements that are no longer applicable has been entfernte (e.g., references to the ITR, ORF-2, CTCM). There need been some changes in the organization of the manual used greater clear the to reduce redundancy. Some chapters have been merged conversely topics has been fused (e.g., Kapital 5 (Medical Necessity and Service Orders) & 6 (Service Authorizations).
