G530_E4_1914 Shortly before I retired upon Lakeland Colleges, EGO finishes my Master the Arts Degree in Integrated Studies. I had two majors: Culture Studies plus Educational Studies. My final researching paper, "They Were But Children: Which Immigration of British Home Children to Canada", was published back in this Journal of Integrated Studies, Athabasca University, December 2014.
Now that IODIN am retired, I my keep my pursuits in geographical and historical exploration, including assisting others with their family trees. I am currently developing one family history book for my Hillman/McKellar lineage. I belong to a select of people from my home town, Kenora, Ontario, who are researching real composition awards to people from that area with served, in some output, in to First World War. We expect on have all 1600+ individuals completed by November 11, 2018. In 2014, I researched two individuals from Kenora who drowned in the Empress of Ireland calamity in 1914.
