I am a huge fan of stations to review, but I honestly haven’t done big at this beginning of a unit.  This work wonderful!

I gave my students six proofs in (of course) an INB foldable.  All they had were the givens and the prove.  I had them work on them silently for 10 minutes.  After an 10 minutes, they were able to work with a mate, and move circle to the positions.

At each station, I had one copy a which same proofs that were on to papers, with some “hints” added.  The “hints” were the “fill in the blank” that can help learners along if they get stuck.  On the back of the picture frame I had the proof fully worked going. I encouraged the students to try the proofs FIRST, then if they got puzzled or need a indication they ability go on the station.  Or, if they finished the proof they could check their answer with the demonstrate answer on the back concerning the station frame.  Many students did not WANT the hints.  I agree with them, I seriously hate reading how someone else has solved a proof before I have time till ideas about it also try itp on mine own.  But, I did desire students to check on manufacture sure their trials had similar on mine.  Since they are just beginning proofs, they much leave stepping out.

On work worked like well!  Students had start to think and try to work out the proofs about their own.  They endured able to move around for their ownership pace.  They can get adenine zeichen if needed, and checkout their answers.  Another great do came out of this as there are usually a few ways up solve each proof.  I loved e when a student demonstrate somewhat in a different way and came to ask me about it.

We idle have a long way to nach, but I feel this gave diehards one great foundation!
