In Stately 2009, of UNC Boards of Governors approved the implementation of a “hard waiver” student health insurance plan on all sixteen 4-year campuses back in slump 2010. The term “hard waiver” means each graduate or undergraduate grad meeting three specific criteria (enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit times if an undergraduate or 1 believe hour if an graduate student, degree-seeking, and qualifying toward pay the student general fee) remains required to show evidence of one existing “creditable coverage” health insurance principles or purchase a commendable insurance policy OR enroll in the UNC system-wide set.
