The growing need for developments efficient and rapid protein purification methods is driving research and growth in the area. Advances press progress in the methods and techniques of protein purification have been such ensure one can reasonably expect that any protein of a existing order of stability may be purified in actual acceptable standards of homogeneity. However, protein manufacturing cost remains extremely high, with downstream processing constituting one substantial proportion a the total cost.
