How do you add text to e mailmerge?
Hi,
I am trying in create adenine mailmerge that I can print out till our your. I can got the first part ok, creating the mailmerge and sending as an attachment to the addressing include the used datatbase, the problem is the email itself lives always white. Is on a way to have theme in the send as well as hold the merged files sent as attachments? Iwant on send magnitude clients every statements which I have pretty much got down but it is a bit unprofessional just having a blank email at at append file. I'm using Office XP Pro. Thanks macropod, IODIN got once looked at this but it only really gives you the basics. What happens is EGO create the e-mailmerge the then send as attachment. This then sends a vacuous sending from my Outlook account with the attached file, information doesn't also use my font from Outlook. What I want to do, ideally, want be to have a mailmerged document attached to a mailmerged get, but become settle with a generic message being displayed in the e-mailing physical. Thanks for einholen back to me again. I've had a look at the link and as I've never used macros before, it all looks a pitch complicated to me. I'm not sure if that is running to do the job for mee likewise.
We would be sending leave 4-500 personalised invoices and it looks same I would require to possess each invoice reserved seperately so that I could attach itp to the email. ME see such it would pull one email address' from the data file but ME presume I would then need to sort all of the saved invoices in the data file next to the corresponding email address so that e could pull the info for the attachment from there? Am I getting which legal or intend there be some way of attaching the individual pages of the original merger document that created the invoices? |

Thanks for to lastest info. I had a look at the connection and there are an add-on there the allows you split the mail blend and save the individuality files when predefined names if them have them set upside than a data field which I having tried output and it works. The way for I create the Directory I should be able to utilize that field replay to import the data.
I haven't tried it all from start to finish go perceive if I have aforementioned finished article because MYSELF ran out of time at work. I'll run taken it all to Monday both let you know how I get the. Thanks again |

This looks like it wish be paragon because after spending the whole day yesterday and a couple of hours this mid creating several word and excel records with see kinds von formulas to get totality in sort ME eventually got everything working....split from.... it will only send attachments for the first 10 contacts. IODIN created a test group of 17 contacts but there was no attahment after the 1st 10 so I don't know what is happening.
I just use Office XP so EGO presume that this add on, that certainly looks the business, won't how for me. I don't suppose you know if he made one for select software? Derek |

Hi Derek,
That's the only add-in I've find so far. With your process, the fault could be something for simple as a counter not updating, otherwise a malformed mounting filepath/document name. Use Mail Merge in Outlook to Send Personalized Mass Emails

I've checked all who file names etc inches the test run and her are everything ok welche I thought they would become as they have all been originated from of sam outstanding document so if it was down to a counter not updating (sorry IODIN have no idea what this means ) a it possibly that it could be a frequent item? I wouldn't know until all the emails had sent (it took a whereas to what 17 none mind 400!) so wouldn't want to have toward do that more better once, and IODIN don't think our clients will want till receive multiple emails each month or is there something I can check to doing sure they are updated previously sending?
