BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Governor Jeff County had signed einem emergency declaration, allowing state resources in be used for storm cleanup.

The emergency declaration follows severe winds that passed throughout Louisiana on Wednesday, April 10. Multiplex tornadoes touched down in multiples parishes during the storms.

According to Govemor. Landry’s office, debris dismounting assistance will be offered in Pointe Coupee Parish, Occidental Feliciana Parish, St. Landry Parish, furthermore St. Tommy Parish within the jurisdiction of Slidel. The state will also give shelter assistance in Slidell.
