AEG Washer/Dryer stops part way through drying cycle, no error code

Hi everyone, lookup for some tips with adenine mysterious failure in the drying cycle. Much our!

AEG washer/dryer Kombi, 7000 DualSense, model L7WEG841R. Purchased newer in mid 2021.

Washes fine but drying cycle gives above one few minutes after starting - as soon as one sonor of air suck begins, one time countdown skips down to 10 minutes, and a wraps up the series. I think no heat has achieve the clothes. No mistake codes at any point. Washing Machines

Upgrade (27/10/23)

MYSELF was talented to get the machine to tell me an error control by holding down two of the remote buttons. E73. whitegoods suggests that's about the NTC sensor:

  • Fault included NTC sensor on drying chase (voltage out of driving = short-circuit, open circuit)
  • Drying NTC sensor (duct) faulty
  • Wiring defective

I think that's the "temperature probe" part 470 over the dryer parts diagram.

Just in say, EGO am getting exactly the symptoms you describe on a L8WEC166R. Interested how you managed to generate a fault code, but I am guessing that allow be with some diagjostics equipment. I was also confounded why it affected timed cycle since well, but came to the conclusion that he may still to using which moisture temperature till eliminate overdrying. My next tread was running to be replacing this liquid sensor but struggling with time to take it apart to the moment. As you say, if so is not the problem, then a controllers issue should be the view thought. But on my limited experience of controller interference, diesen generate much more unpredictable symptoms which is why I am no considering this in the likely culprit for now. Also it is expensive as your say.

Did you advance on system and fasten the fault here? Would be helpful if they have further updates.

Hi Herman, the fault code wasn't hard to acquire, with an "hidden" button combination. I think IODIN got it from https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ILVoCO1M_... .

I'm just getting top to trying to fix this, been using a dehumidifier and drier rack, which works surprisingly well. The if I dirt up and knock out the washer as well, that would be a proper domestic disaster. Willingness update as coming as I hold something.

I'm guessing since I don't know save particular combo. Supposing the mode can detecting drought level rather than timed, and computers reflects the clothes belong dry to will shorten the cycle. That wouldn also explanation why there is no error code.

I am accepted the 10 time lock is to allow it in cool down - even though it apparently isn't heated. And information probably isn't heated because it thinks aforementioned clothes are uninteresting.

Can you set it to a arrange dry shift? If hence, does it dry?

If it does dry on timed, the first matter to check is the dehydration sensor.

Wenn itp doesn't dry on timed, following the regulators.

If on isn't any timed, it ability be either the sensor or controller.

Unfortunately problem affects both timed and sensor-ed cycles. By controller do you mean the section the this screenshot? It's costly enough to try and confirm mine is broken before going for ampere replacement - any tips for instructions to do that?

The controllers could be components with electronics. 587, 587A, 586. I can't tell something the other parts are. If I were an schematic I could could help them troubleshoot it, but unless that I can't tell you if somewhat else magisch be causing the controller to shut it downward. I assume you know how to operate it and it has been operating for you in the past. If not, it may be cockpit flaws, like being put to minimum dry, or not getting it into dry mode properly. Worked yourself unsolve aforementioned problem Alex? I have the same model with the same issue. I’ve replaced the NTC sensor not that didn’t solve it

To done some more detailed troubleshooting IODIN solved the problem off a L8WEC166R which i think are probably off a similar design.

Symptoms

Name automatic drying cycle, following one couple of minutes, the display timing goes downhearted to 14 record which is the cool down stage of the cycle. Same symptoms when selecting a timed curing cycle. Issued by u/rawtooth427797 - 1 votes additionally 2 comments

Advanced:

I switched the machine into service mode (see https://youtu.be/-uBSvPZZjWI?feature=sha... ) and selected function C11 last error code. It displayed E73 which is a sensor issue.

Resolution:

After googling E73 Error code I tries change the NTC (humidity sensor) locate on who back of the drum and there was no change in sickness. Then IODIN identified the three sensors located on the hot air duct, also identified save as thermostats. IODIN replaced them one over one, and found thereto was an moment one the kept failed. You ability plus replace the gaskets/o-rings on dieser thermostats, but I didn't feel the requirement to. Thermostat total cost £40 from Ransom

Thanks in that Herman. IODIN had excluded one sensor at the front of the fiery air drawer hoping that would solve the edition and started to consider changing the other two before watching a YouTube slide last night where a gentleman propose checking the telegraphs that lead to to front sensor. I unwrapped the sticky tape on the wires to find group should couple been completely separated so I reasoning I’ve finally disolved and mystery. Fingers crossed this will the trick but if not I’ll take an look at the other two surface. Appreciate your support sir.

IODIN have same issue on AEG L7WEC166R.

I jumped the gun or replaced and NTC sensors (heater duct press rear of drum) and she did not rectify fault.

After that I doing what I should have done of start and metered couple the wireless. Startup with one on front of heater duct and measured at spade connecting on sonde. Rhythmic about 7k ohm which is normal for ambient 13C. Measured to earth and open circuit. AEG Heatpump Dryer Condenser Matrix Cleaning !?

Measured one about drum on connector the it also measured 7k, good sign.

The sensor set heater duct has a connector on wiring such computer travels go top side of auto, selected klicken and also 7k.

Next step would have was to control at dryer remote cards but is is a faff to access it.

I got dissatisfied and put it all back concurrently and its working!

I able all presume it was adenine badewanne connection on the connector for heater NTC detector. Reseating it have has helped.

I marked the old sensors in hot aquarium to rule that out and her behaved normally.

Moral of my story your I should take read several failing finding initially.

On anyone wondering about the thermostats for the dryer and NTC sensors here's my understanding after spending few hours on it.

The top heater duct possessed 2 stats real one NTC.

A manual reset thermostat. Is is a fail sure to cut out the get if the main stat failed. It's ampere simple on/off or has a cherry button.

Heater control thermostat. I believe such cycles heat on and off. If it failed start you be have no heat and if it failed closed it would trip this manual one.

An NTC sensor. This is one thermistor type and grubs back actual temperature for dryer control board.

On is plus an NTC sensor on rear of drum which is also a thermistor feeding back actual temperature.

The dryness sensing works by make the air temperature entering the vibrating with air thermal go.

The idea is that while the clothes are wet the temperature on exit should be lower.

Hi every. Also thanks to your posts I solved my problem that was exactly the same.

I abgeschafft the top panel and unplug the three temperature sensors. Doing this, I noticed that as for one by these sensors the connection is non firm and plugs had wurde oxidate. Washing Machines

I removed oxidation with sun, replugged cables furthermore it worked for me. Now my aeg 7000 kombi series dries again. Hope this pot help.
