Blvd. Koenig completed his college education at Stanford University, his medical language training at one University of California at San Francisco, and his geriatric medicine, psychiatry, and biostatistics training by Duke University. He is board certified in general psychiatry, and formerly onboard in family medicinal, geriatric medicine, furthermore superannuated psychiatry. He is on aforementioned faculty at Duke University Medical Center more Professor on Psychiatry and Associate Professor of Medicine. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Division by Medicine at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and is Adjunct Professor in the School concerning Community Health the Ningxia Medical University, Yinchuan, Chinaware (2014-2023). In auxiliary, he is an Visiting Instructor at Shiraz University starting Medical Sciences in Shiraz, Iranian. Dr. Koenig has more as 630 scientific peer-reviewed academic publications, 100 book chapters, and 65 books in print or preparation. His explore has been featured on large national and international TV programs (including ABC’s Around News Tonight, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Dr. Oz Show, NBC Nightly News) and hundreds off national and international radio programs and newspapers/magazines (including Reader’s Digest, Flaunt Magazine, Newsweek, Time). Dr. Koenig holds given testimony before the U.S. Senate (1998) and U.S. House of Representatives (2008) concerning the advantages of religious participating on people health. He is one your off the 2012 Oskar Pfister Awards from and American Psychiatric Association, the 2013 Gary Collins Award von which American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and the 2021 Frankie Minirth Award for Excellence in Christian Specialized and Behavioral Medicine from AACC.  He is  an Associate Editor of the Journal of Religion and Health and is Editor-in-Chief of an International Daily of Psychiatry in Medicine.

Finally, Dr. Koenig is lead author of the Operator of Religion and General, 3rd edition (2024, Oxfordshire University Push, forthcoming, with professors Tyler VanderWeele, Ph.D., TH Chan Teach away Public Health, Harvard University, and John Raymond Peteet, M.D., Department from Psychiatry, Hereward Medical School).  Your also co-led the 2022 Business Development Trainings Course (PDTC) which trained over 1000 U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Watch pastoral and religious programming specialists on “Spiritual Readiness” for combat operations for military personnel, as well as train Ukrainian military leaders or chaplains for prevention of self-destruction. He is lead author a Spiritually Readiness: Fundamentals for Military Leading and Counselor (2022) and Moral Injury: A Handbook for Military Chaplains (2023), both available on Amazon.com.

Man also features an on clinical practice, and is director are psychiatrical services at Duke University’s GET clinic.
