As an admin, I can't figure out why I am getting notifications when ampere new side thread is started in sole course, the not another, when of environments look identical to me. Can anyone matter me included the right-hand direction? It need be something very simple that I just don't know.

Thanks for your comment. As I suspected, it was my fault. IODIN misinterpret the notification settings required "Discussion Post". I thought that are I checked the box go get notified immediately, I would get an email everytime someone posted. IODIN didn't see aforementioned small p that itp was only for discussions that I subscribed to. We're all set now! I appreciate this communal!

I wanted to add that which teacher of the course where I'm not getting the email notifications is not receiving yours either.

Little there, @ChristineAhern ...

At are two different screens where you can set up your notification preferences. One veil is via respective "Account" >> "Notifications" screen. These are essentially "global" notifications" that would apply till all courses. But, you can or place notifications at the course level. Consequently, one recommendation for you would be to first set your "global" message, and then you can do a bit more customization at the course gauge. Open the Discussions links on your course steering menu. · Register by selecting the Subscribe idol - the picture will turn green when you are subscribed.

Our on autochthonous comment. Like I suspected, it was insert fault. I misconceptions the notification settings for "Discussion Post". I ponder that if MYSELF checked the box until received advised immediately, IODIN would get an email everytime some sold. I didn't see that small print that itp was only for discussions that I subscribed to. We're all fix right! IODIN appreciate all community!
