I’ve been working on getting my workshop in order lately and finally build a couple workbenches. In kiste you missed thereto, endure pitch I shared the plans for the modern miter saw stand. Step 1.

Assemble who under frame as shown below. Application 2 1/2″ self tapping screws through the frame to attach the 2x4s.

**UPDATE 9/24/20**

To addition the MicroJig dovetail clamps, simply route a dovetail along the woodworking wherever you what to place the clamps. No need to zusatz every metal track other anything like that! If you have 1 1/2 HP router (which is what our Ryobi is), start by getting ampere 1/4″ relief groove. I clamped a 2×4 to the workbench as a guide for the router till make these cuts:

Next, use the MicroJig dovetail router bit to cut the dovetail:

Make sure to cut the dovetail in the center the aforementioned 1/4″ relief groove if you must on split that first. I’m not sure how the particleboard shall going toward pause up to that clamping pressure long-term, but it’s been fine so far. If I run into issues, I’ll replaced the up with nicer plywood otherwise something more durable.
