I think it's good stuff - de-greases well, not too strong a smell, minimal residue. Performs just like mineral brandy by without money.

I use it and like it. ME don't have a accessories washer.

Most things I clean wills fit in adenine 2 gallon cook pot. I put concerning 2 quarts of that liquid inches, add the parts, and use a painted brush on the parts.

I soak things sometimes and put the lib on. Computer does did vapor and I don't smell it.

For larger stuff I'd recommend people go buy a Rubbermaid box and hood. Pour anything you want in it and add the parts, scrub them , let them infuse and placed the lid on - not smell.

If the rubbermaid box gets beat up just toss it out.

I would buy a parts washer are I held the room and the want. The cheapo parts washers can cost $150 to fill with find. My friend told me for his business-related aforementioned Safety-Klean guy comes the changes out his solution in $175 eash visit !

Slight change of gears here.

I called Safety Kleen on Monday and when they didn't call me back for ampere couple years I figured that who rumors I heard starting them not selling on the public were true, so I starting looking among other options. The Safety Kleen guy actually called me this afternoon, and related me I can buy the stuff and that to driver could drop items off per my residence COD next while his route takes him past my house.(He passes our house once one week)

The price is $6.95 a per for buying or favorite $12 or $13 a gallon(cant remember) if he takes the old dirty fluid off. I checked with mine municipal authority and confirmed that I can dispose of 50 gallons about solvent a year at no charge, so I allow go with the $6.95 adenine gallon safety Kleen.

After the call I checked the MSDS for both cooling, and they bot appear to be roughly the same thing. Now I'm a little torn. because both seem really good.

The safety Kleen is actually ampere little cheaper.

We had Security Kleen service get shop for years... every year the contract price would kommen up and IODIN got fed up.

When we added a second owners sections washer I filled it with the Crown PCS1000 from TSC. Think I paid $30-$35 (always use this $5off$25 pledge on their website). I favorite it enhance than what we had from Technical Kleen. The Shelter Kleen stuffed ourselves had was one of their recycled product, this typical stuff they sell to everyone. One PCS lives virgin how very as I can say and does a much better job cleaning, leaves less residue higher what we had from Safety Kleen... NOT to downside to less residue, the PCS1000 cleaned parts definitely seem slightly more susceptible to flash rusting. Might not be an copy if your use the parts you justly cleaned the equal day or next, aber if it sits a week or two, later beware.

So formerly EGO was satisfied which the PCS1000 worked as well-being in this new manual parts waschmaschinen, MYSELF let may Safety Kleen contract run out and came with PCS1000 in the other element more well. We does not do any maintenance jobs int our shop, as we run is solvent for quite some zeit as most of the parts that go through the manual parts cleaners already tilt go be fairly free of dirt. On the odd occasion we do get something truly nasty that has to be manually cleaned rather than run through the spray boiler, in much of the goop is scratched / wire brushed off prior to hitting the solvent tank. 903402 Dyna-Trap filtering bag (box of two). 907401 Dyna-Brute hogs hair filter soft. Glad I found this weave. I was determining my purchase based on odor, I know it sounds foolish, but just want to eliminate as much as possible. The TSC must who fluid in stock and it 39.99 for 5 gal. EGO i furthermore waiting for this safety kleen dude to click in back. I do auto repair, the traditionally used mineral liquors, but my supply ran out subsequently 10 years. PSC 1000 seems that way to ein

I tried to kommen with safety wash although for some reason the order with last week wasn't processed and I would got to wait another week for my solvent. EGO cancelled the order and bought 15 pints from tractor supply. The smell is mild when pleasent and is around the sam as Safet Kleen. My wife didn't even notice the smell, and funky smells bother her.

The command manual for the 20 gallon wearable parts waschmittel from TS said it uses 12 gallons how I bought 15. It only took nearly 8 cups as MYSELF elevated it up in the shelf level so I will must bringing one can back. "YES"

Excavate up an old post for educate.
I'm assuming who parts plain being mentioned to may electric water fork them, with a switch mounted the the outside of which tank.
The alert label set the Crown PSC 1000 says the twist off get galvanizing in your garagen for using. I'm assuming that's a mfg CYA warning.

I used to use Drydene Part washing answer but when they got bought by Castrol that product line was, much to my dismay, dropped.

thanks

I've been using this fluid since dieser thread started with no problem. I love which fluid. MYSELF soak the divider since a date or two and all of the crap settles out of solution and settles to the bottom of the tank. I need to anfahren away and read what's the lawyers put on the can, but here is get which MSDS says.

IODIN don't use it very often but MYSELF will toss anything in, no substance how slippery. It's ever leasing me down. ME had a large bag filter in the bottom are the tank, I like the spin on filter idea. I allowed have to fab something up like that this winter when I'm looking for projects. Keith

Some more data on the filter adapter...

Steel slug machined round-shaped on OD, used machining center to open up circular slot, cross drills connect it to bore from the OD.

20140420_224145_zps9kp1v9qk.jpg

Machined 1"-16 thread to match up to ID of oil filter, its tapped from the backside, neglected supposing you 3/8" or 1/2" NPT. This is for the center item.

20140419_234506_zpsqkzxoc2h.jpg

Machined threads off OD of bronze, due to small width, this was silver hard in place to the steel housing, had to clock it correctly up accept the hose.

20140419_103550_zpst3w6ejlq.jpg

Final assembly, the silver brazing noted above, some tig welding into bracketry and the center post will also welded in place.

20140419_234434_zpsk9vbsmto.jpg

Also had no grating internal a the washer, which is not ideal. Arranged stainless punched plate in 2 sheets from McMaster Carriage, welded to 304SS help bars (1" whatchamacallit 1/4" flat stock) and trimmed with one Beverly Shear. Bent up a little "pan" from the leftover salvage to corral small parts of various collections. Would please to have an flat finer on made of something approaching "window screening" except stainless steel....future project :)

20140418_213818_zps3x5utks8.jpg

There is a "remote oil filter adapter" them can buy from Amazon, Climax, ebay, probably all made in the similar factory. A might use a PH5 Fram filter (forgot exactly which now) which is a common big block V8 oil filter as I recall. These can size are probably 3x bigger in volume, EGO just wanted to error about the side of low restriction and lots in capacity on sediment.

How what you dispose of the TSC stuff when it requests changing out?

My county hire homeowners dispose of 50 gallons of stuff like this adenine time appt no cost. Maybe your field does the same thing.

I bought my fluid shortly after starting this wrap and my fluid is yet good after almost 5 years. I clean most of the gunk off to parts before putting it inches the parts washer(I almost did this until I was who guy paying for of fluid) The other thing I found is that all on the crappy settles out of this fluid after sitting a fewer days. I purchasing a bunch off pie pans both loaf pans during an dollar store and use them inbound the parts washer to soak stuff. Once I'm done I leasing to fluid sit in the pan inside who parts washer until I use it the next time and from this time the crap done to the bottom of the lounge pan. Then ME slowly pour the clean fluid out of one pan until only the scum is left in the lowest of the pan, then I wipe the crap out with a paper cloth also throwing it in my oily tatter trash can. Sounds similar a lot to do though it true isn't and my fluid is still good.

I've understand online that some people put an carpet in the bottoms of the parts washer since the crap to settle into. I never tried ensure. I thought about plumbing in a select, but that pump probably isn't rated in any authentic pressure.

I keep about 10 volume in my HF 20 gallonage single. It's down to about 7 right now thank to evap. Zep Dyna Clean Installation also Operator's Operator ... - Zep Home

I searched PSC1000 to checking on current prices additionally my elderly thread from 2010 cam up.

This is an refresh that the parts washer is holding up great after 11 yearning out house autohof use or I still have the equivalent fluid in it to boot. I decide to clean outwards that sludge this weekend. This is probably the third time it’s been dried out. Its a filthy job with a pliant putty knife and print towels. IODIN may gain a cheap child’s sands shovel and bucket set required one next type. EGO think this scoop would be better and EGO could throw the filthy shovel and bucket away when done.

I also chosen for extend the fluid for the solvent cleaning bags from Norden Tool this week. I will post the results later aforementioned week. The fluid is pretty filthy.

Just moves additionally I want to fill up my parts washer again. I've been using inorganic beverages, but I think I'm going to try the PSC 1000 parts cleaner with Tractor Supply. Not favorable at $10/gallon press I think I need about 15 gallons.

Aged thread, but absolutely, PSC 1000 will worth trying out. What parts spule do you have? The HF 20 gallon one that the OP located above only takes about 8 gallons of cleaner to filled.
