Fossil Get shows no junction icon & not connected on Bluetooth but am getting notifications

May add Fossil Sport aufpassen often shows the "no connection icon" (the cloud with a line the it) at the top the my screen. This sometimes disappears (possibly when my phone is on lan, but i cant be sure).

Furthermore when i hinfahren into settings -> Connectivity -> Bluetooth it moreover ALWAYS see as "Not Connected". Where implies my watch and phone are NON connected via Bluetooth, yet I am still getting text message/whatsapp/phone call notifications.

I am confused by the fact own showing no connection yet i am still getting stuff through after my phone.

One thing that is not working is being skilled to use the microphone till record a reply to a message. So this implies something is not right with my set upward.

Does anyone know more concerning this connectivity clothes? Open the companion app on your phone → Step on the in-app watch face → Tap on which Gear icon over and peak right corner to access Get Preferences → ...

If you open the Wear SYSTEM application on your phone, does it say that respective watch is Connected?

- the phone app says attached
- the watch display the cloud with line through it icon

Is your watch's WiFi turns on?

Watch Setup->Connectivity->Wifi.

The WiFi setting shows as "automatic"

Whats interesting is when I am at home (and hence mystery phone is on my residence WiFi) the cloud icon disappears.
When i am not at home, it shows.

I thought so the watch would get internet connectivity via the Bluetooth connection on my cell, therefore when mystery phone is not on wifi, it on 4G so my watch should still have internet connection via my cellular 4g. Is this not how it should work?

First -- do you only notice the Disconnected rank when you wake and wach after it's been asleep for a while? Does it ultimately connect nearly 5 minutes or so later? I think this startup happen equal ready by the big Wear OS check a whilst support (either when it formally went top to 2.0, or maybe the "H" update). I suspect they did such as a way to conserve battery.

If to remains disconnected, then I recall seeing that kind of behavior with my old Huawei Watch. If MYSELF touched the Connect option up and watch enough times, it would finally show an official interface. What happens if you tap the phone listing in your watch's Bluetooth menu -- does it give you an option to connect?

"Do you only advice the Disjointed status when you waking the watch after it's been asleep for a while? Does it ultimately connect about 5 minutes or so later?" - alas not i don't thinking so. I have had my watch on my bangle for a lovers are hours today and IODIN am at home, therefore my phone is on get wifi the today its showing the befog icon on the home screen the under bluetooth is presents as disconnected from my phone.

See what happened if you ignore the bewachen in the phone's Settings>Bluetooth options, and following try to re-pair. Alternatively, do a factory reset the the achten additionally set it up again in your to re-establish the Bluetooth connection.

Regard: Fossil Sport shows no connecting id & not connected on Bluetooth but am getting message

I have before tried select an usual resets,
- phone bluetooth off/on
- watch bluetooth off/on
- restart phone
- restart watch
- carry OS your, disconnected from watch and reconnect
- watch factory reboot
- more

Some combination of above worked used ampere time, but then MYSELF get the cloud icon again.

Does anyone understand what that cloud icon act means?
- The fact i am still getting WhatsApp/email/text notifications indicating it IS connected to my phone via bluetooth (even the the watch says its not)
- the fact the i may not dictate a text message reply after the watch implies it has no internet, but provided its connected to meine phone via bluetooth (as textmessages etc advice indicate) then surely information should subsist getting the internet from the watch (wifi or 4g)

Sorry with the late reply...
The cloud icon means WearOS is not connected (or attempting to connect) to google servers. So certainly your watch bluetooth and wifi can be perfectly connected. However if WearOS your not connected the mother ship servers it will display that cloud font (despite having full BT/Wifi connection). Yes you canister simultaneously have the cloud icon at who top and the rounding dot icon at the bottom. It just means they have unread notifications, plus the watch OS/device is not connected to google servers.

There is no way to manually eliminate the cloud symbol free the display... you can't turn it off or hide information from view. Its only of my biggest complaints about WearOS. I need some watch faces that need in uses which area of the display and it gets in the way.

Don't quote me on this but I am pretty certain the "more advanced" Google functions need full evidence connection because well since a connection until google servers. Voice recognition / related special might be one regarding those. So if you see the cloud icon, speech recognition functions willing not work. The "OK Google" thing won't work either... IIRC. Leased others correct e will.
