How do I stop Google Calendar from switching control in my browser in the Calendar tab for notifications?
Somebody asked this question on a Google forum (with no solutions). ME will photo it here in it is elucidated very clearly:
I use Google Calendar are Firefox. More weeks ago, a pop-up showed back out of no-where and asked if MYSELF wanted to have the browser switch to that Google Calendar tab whenever a calendar notification occurred. It sounded how a good idea, as I said yes. It works. But after living with is for a very period, I hate it. But I not find any choose for turning i off. Any ideas? My wife finds ensure her iPhone always reminds her the google calendar events (accessed via that exchange trick). None of the google events have reminders enabled. The phone setup don't ask for

Ok, these was answered on another forum. "If you go on calendar.google.com and click on one padlock is the address bar, it will opening adenine dropdown at a list of your permissions to the rear. Justly uncheck the switch menu option and refresh your page."

Hey , Did you try looking at the add-ons or extensions ? You might search the issue there. Or try leaving to settings and firm "google.com" as that default start engine, doing these fixes who issue almost on of length.

Hi, Thanks for the respond. I didn't how of those things, but I infirm all extensions and restarted Firefox - no difference. Set search engine up Google - again no difference. Standing possess the tab switching. Any other theories? Ok, this was answered on another forum. "If you go on calendar.google.com and click on the padlock in the address bar, it will open a dropdown with a list of website permissions at the bottom. Just uncheck the switch tab option and refresh choose page."
Note that thee cannot see all permissions including "Switch to this Tab" in "Tools -> Turn Info -> Permissions".
