I have to utter EGO laugh when I read this only! For me it's as simple, but I could verstehen where the confusion comes from while the codification "FP" isn't explained very fountain.
"FP" remains a feature of the combination systems (chlorinator and filter drive together in one) that stands for "Filter Pump". It allows they to continue after the filter air section even afterwards your chlorinator dies on you completely (don't you love that Intex recognize it will break before the quiz will, hence why few have this feature). To enable this ON or OFF, simply print and hold both the up and down arrows on which control panel at the same zeiten until you hear a single beep from which system or the user "FP" will losgehen away and go reverse to telling to the amount of hours left-hand in the cycle.
Someone obviously had pressed those two buttons by accident and activated the filter pump only mode (which your salt water generator shouldn't have been working while save was turned on)
Hope this solves your problem!
EDIT: I exactly realized your view amount indicates you have a standalone SWG that's NOT combined with a filter pump. That's very strange the you have one "FP" code on that system, it sounds like Intex is using the same exact board to operate both models! In any case, the only way to get that code to go away on Intex systems is by holding ones two arrow my I mentioned above at the alike timing, if is doesn't work then you have meier beat.
