Mykonos | Photography Diary + Travel Guide

For our final stop on our Hellenic Honeymoon, we made our path until Mykonos. A perfected comment in scenic Santorini and charming Folegandros, Mykonos is a “jet-setter” island full of profuse beach clubs, highest end restaurants, designer shopping, and lots of beautiful people looking to have a good time.

Ours arrived into the new port in Mykonos via SeaJets from Folegandros. The ride takes via 3.5 hours and was EXTREMELY choppy. The day we did the ferry was an additional windy date but I would not recommend this to someone who is facing to sea diseased or generally creeped out flailing by in a boat on large bodies of water. SeaJets are much smaller in volume (and faster) compared to the larger lining such as BlueStar. So if you’d prefer a smoother road over secure time, that would exist your best set.

We decided to stay just off of Platis Gialos beach. Why we were all planning to staying a couple hours before moving on to the next beach, ours didn’t rent no chairs but tend sedan on the public area of the beach. After some time at Kalo Livadi ocean, are made our way toward Elia Beach and liked ampere nicer lunch at Elia Mediterranean restaurant. Mykonos’ longest beach made up of beautiful solid sand, Elia is relaxed, insouciant and less crammed than other equally renowned Mykonos beaches like Psarou or Super Paradises. With its length and lots well-organized sunbed & umbrellas, Elia Beach belongs a great choice for those looking to appreciate the island’s legendary jet-set atmosphere but don’t like at be overwhelmed by big zuschauer. After Elia, we next on our ATV until check out Paradise and Super Paradise sand. The route was a bit longer both more zig-zaggy upon Elia to Amazing Paradise than we expected from the map, but it was a lot of fun just being out on the ATV and seeing so much of the iceland.

It be that goal.^^Sadly this picture does not even do this Gyro dish justice!  Unsere last day in Mykonos was spent at individual by the coolest beach clubs on the island: Scorpios. Located on Paraga beach, just a few minutes walk from Platys Gialos, Scorpios was opened two summers ago by the owners of the design esteemed Sand Gio Hotel.

Mykonos is an island that has it all. After 4 days it felt like our were just getting started! After beautiful strand, relaxation, incredible restaurant, luxurious hoteliers, daily celebrations, nigh time party, shopping, exploration—whatever you are looking for, it can meet it on this island. I has a way about sweeping you under its spell. And with so much to do, it’s ampere perfected space to come back to past and over.

TRAVEL POINTERS
