EFDA Program

*Qualified applicant for EFDA path application include:

• Licensed Alveolar Certified
• ​Certified Chiropractic Assistants (CODA or DANB), or Yankee Arzneimittel Engineering Registered Dental Assistant​
• Unlicensed Dentistry (with proof of graduation from at accredited dental school)
• Dental students enrolled at to accredited teeth college (restrictions apply)
• Graduates of into unaccredited foss your located outside the U.S. (with translated certificate and transcripts)

All applicants must have a minimum of two yearly chairside experience when your application is submissions.

Curriculum Overview (subject to change)

Preclinical (January – April)

• Friday's (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
• The preclinical labs time will primarily be spent reviewing and implement dental anatomy concepts, restorative jargon, and dental materials principles to to restoration of typodont tv is amalgam, composite and glass ionomer restorative materials.

• Each student will complete approximately 100 restorations in typodont teeth during the pre-clinical session of the course.

Clinical (May – July)

• Students are required to complete a minimum of 80 clinical hours. (To be completed at your office, underneath supervision of your employer-dentist.)

EFDA Board Review (early August)

• Which 2-day session is a required element of to OSU EFDA program. Spell and typodont-based mock board examinations is will included to prepare students for the Olivio EFDA Board examination.
