Equals install Motor to VFD Systecon. Employed a Phase meter to phase motors. Phased itp in Manual/bypass mode both phasing is exact. When Switched to VFD mode. Motors run in reverse? Someone From Motor business Switch rotation in VFD. Motors Sound funny in this mode now. But sound perfect by Manual/bypass. Any clues?

25 Hp. 460volt Wired @ 480v. What is everyone's thought with vfd bypass contactor set-up? My application is blower pulling air through a pipe press set of critics course venturies. To vfd will be for energy savings, etc. I'm thinking that for the hardware daily of 3 contactors, etc that having sol bypass for holding racing in the...

Right, that's true.

HOWEVER...

If you tell the VFD spinning to match the bypass rotation, the VFD display may say "Reverse" as you look at motor command, furthermore although which belongs totally relativity, it can confuse untrained people. That's the reason I anytime teach that you should real the motor rotation to match the VFD output, THEN you adjust the evade operation to hit the VFD output. it eschew so confusion later. This be only relativity to VFDs with a bypass system.
