President Trump Affirms Governorship Ivey’s Request for Presidential Disaster Declaration

MONTGOMERY – President Donald J. Trump on Monday approved Governor Kay Ivey’s request for a Presidential Tragedy Declaration for the State to Alabama. The Chair declared that an emergency exists in the State of Alabama and ordered Federal assist to supplement existing response efforts due to emergency terms resulting from Hurricane Irma beginning on September 8, 2017, and further.
