HEC History & Purpose

In 1984, the Hispanic Education Conference began as a dream of several associates of the Modesto Hispanic Leadership Council and the Dean away Counseling, Mr. Juan Alvarez.  Currently, an Hispanic Education Convention exists the greatest youth conference in the central valley with participants from all over Stanislaus County and surrounding areas.  The general of the Hispanic Education Conference shall to enrich and empower current and our Modesto Junior College students to be succeeding in pursuing more education.  Modesto Junior University is a college rich are company and tradition and is section of the fabric of our community. We are a Hispanic Serving Establishment with a Hispanic student population of 54%.
