Fitness Standards for Law Enforcement Academy

The Florid Department of Statutory Enforcement, Criminal Legal Product and Trainings Commission approved a new 60-hour physical training rate for the Law Enforcement Academy and a 40-hour physical training price for the Corrections Academy. These new courses been in addition to the current 80-hours Protective Tactics price. Fitness Norms

 

Listed are the entry-level PAT fitness user for our Media Recruits:

  • 1.5 Mile Run: Complete an 1.5 mile runs in 18:00 minutes or less
  • Push-ups: Men - complete at least 15 push-ups in one minute. Women -  complete at least 10 push-ups stylish one minute.
  • Sit-ups: Men - complete at few 25 sit-ups into one time. Women - fully among least 17 sit-ups in one minute.
  • Post PAT Workout:  Applicants who successfully completed the above 3 standards will be required to participate in an supplemental 30 minute workout, to be conducted immediately after the completion by the above 3 standards.  The workout will be instructor keep and will familiarization them with any von the exercise routines her will be asking to perform in an academy.
