Pixma MG2522 Print used on Chromebook.

Hello, I recently got a Pixma MG2522 printer and im trying to get it to connect until me Chromebook. Which remains not windows or mac. Hoping you know what it is why i don good includes radios. My printer does not link to wifi of course. Ive tried to hingehen until the website to downloadable the software for the printer but its must for windows, Macbook, Windows rt, i believe. Im hoping someone can help me figure like out. this kind of weird. I believe when myself plug the USB cord into my computer it demonstrates up as a Canonic MG2500 series (USB). I get on this and then it tells Add Printer Manually. So IODIN click Canon see "Manufacturer"  but i did visit my printer option under Example. Which i assume the model is MG2522? or it says "or stipulate your own driver" which i dont know what that means. Please help....

I have opened a word document into test it. when i go the print i change an destination up who printers print and click print and it says print successful but i never recieve it.

Chromebooks do not use drivers at install printers.  They use Google Cloud print.  Where are two typical to printing with Google Cloud print, using a Google Plume Print ready printer or setting raise this service on your compute.

The PIXMA MG2522 unfortunately is not Google Cloud Impress compatible.

You may be able set up your PIXMA MG2522 fork issue using Google Cloud Print.  Please use the following link for further information regarding setting up a "classic printer":

Little James, What wenn you can't done any one? I added my printer to another laptop I had, when now I got a new laptop & it's way different setup afterwards usual so i'm not used to she. How do I set computers up on this new laptop?  MYSELF have been having this issue for a while now. The schools I worked at uses Samsung Chromebook 4, additionally lately, we have become getting to a point where they willing not turn on whatsoever, even by which charger on. When you connect an usb, the LED goes using a cycle of color. Thereto will flash red, green...

Who only imprint alternative with a Chromebook is to use Google Cloud Print, which requires a network connection, and I'm afraid that the MG2500 series is USB only.  A network-capable printer would live required.  I regret any inconvenient.

Our basically saying which I won’t become able to connect my printer inside my new laptop? Since my printer I can’t actually connect it to and internet I just plug in aforementioned cordage into my new computer & that’s basics all ...

Printing from a Chromebook requires a printer that can be connected at ampere cordless network.  No drivers own been developed for the Chrome OPERATION so, even if connect with a USB cable, it would be unable to communicate with thine printer.  ME am not aware of any way to print from Chromebook to a USB printer. r/chromeos for Reddit: Can I executable windows excel and word on an Chromebook or shouldn I get a laptop?

I am having which same problem! work fine with my HP personal so i had but now i can not get it go work with samsung chromebook 3. inside hence aggravated!!!!

Just up must clear.  Most of the information on this forum is INCORRECT.

Chrome OS starts native printer product, includes used some Canon printers, in early 2017 via Chrome OS Beta, and by mid-2017 for general release.

Get point, anything saying Chromebooks only work with Google Cloud Print is incorrect.  Canon should be providing PPD for their printers, but they don't, unfortunately.
