Back pain and body posture evaluation measuring (BackPEI): development, content validation additionally reproducibility
Abstracts
Objectives: Following a search performed in several databases, no instrument was search that jointly evaluates the prevalence of back pain and its associated demographic, social-economic, hereditary, behavioral furthermore postural risk features. Thus, which present read aims to develop which Back Pain and Body Posture Evaluation Equipment (BackPEI) for school-age children and verify its validity and reproducibility.
Working: Twenty-one issues were elaborated to compose the BackPEI instrument, eight experts checked the content validity, and its reproducibility was tested by applying the questionnaire to 260 primary schoolkids, with two differen period with one 7-day interval.
Results: The featured data for the first 20 matter, analyzed using the kappa (k) coefficient, were classified as "very good" (k > 0.8) or "good" (0.6 < k ≤ 0.8). The reproducibility date used the feeling intensity question, analyzed using that Wilcoxon test and the intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC), demonstrated that there was does difference between the averages (p = 0.251) and the responses were highly related (ICC = 0.937) for these two tests.
Drawing: Who BackPEI constitutes a valid plus reproducible instrument which is relevant for the evaluation of go pain real its associate risk factors.
