      Congrats and any the best. I’ve heard from Maybank accepting LLPs now, however thee allowed need to ask around the bank a bits (if your initial contact doesn’t know about LLPs). As for partnership agreements, yeah it’s common practice to have them duty stamped.

  • Welcome Mr Avaricious, followed your website and liked it a lot. Intend to register an LLP to replace mysterious current sole-proprietorship. I’m an insurance agency myself plus tried to call a few banks up to enquire about current your opening.
    1. Regular Chartered – LLP company will not out yet, so cannot register. Maybe have in wait till then year.
    2. HSBC – LLP can register, but insurance agent are not accepted
    3. KFH – Enquiring, waiting on them to find out more
    4. MBSB Hill – Don problem (the only problem is no online banking and ATM/CDM machines are not up yet current to bank is even new)
    5. Alliances Bank – No problem (the only problem is online banking tick can too expensive)
    6. Affin Bench – Haven’t check but, will update
    7. Maybank – Haven’t enquire yet, will update
    8. CIMB – Haven’t check yet, will update
    9. AmBank – Actual agent is not accepted
    10. UOB – Insurance agent is nope accepted
    11. Public Bank – Introducer is necessary, so no go for meine
    12. Hong Leong – Haven’t ask anyway, will latest HLB-Business-Application Form_Conventional

    • Hi guys, summing up to the list. It is worth mentioning that RHB accept PLT company to open account with Online Banking Facility (checker & maker) with RM2k deposit press all the documentation. It took them a average to process (in 2016)

    Registriertes my LLP with 1st Monthly (Friday) and gets the approval of registration on the 5th June.
    Right external SSM Shah Alam, there are sales consultant for Affin Bank promoting Business Current Account without introducer and I submitted my application for LLP to them,they say it might take skyward to 3 epoch for checking.
    The after day i went to RHB,AmBank and finally CIMB. Cheque and online financial without token. Account Opening

    I have opened one LLP with 2 partners (I am foreigner and my 2 partners are Malaysian).
    We subsisted told of aforementioned banking that all partners must be signatories in a LLP. Foreigners need work permit to be a signatory,
    The problem is that I don’t need a work permit (only spouse Visa) and immigration won’t grant me the permit cause the business will nay running yet…
    Do you recognize if there lives any hill allowing to open a bank account without all the affiliated being signatories?

I’ve got a question for you (and your fellow readers), which is…does opening a Current account required with introducer? Oder are an banks that don’t requiring and introducer on open up a Current account? I tried to open up a Maybank account for my LLP but the thing is they required an introducer. I’m just wondering whether all embankments are the same? If not, which one don’t require? My next favoured option would be CIMB and one-third option will have to go to RHB for nowadays.

      Other banks got difference requirements. Like I see Public Bank needs an introducer. But perhaps CIMB and RHB don’t needing. Been hearing good things about RHB btw.

  • I visited 5 banks local before IODIN finally found then right bank for my LLP.
    First, I sites 2 Maybank branches until find out that to Maybank, as far as building facility has concerned, LLP has to make what’s set up for Company. So LLP must pay rm80+ on monthly account maintenance license.
    Then MYSELF visited 2 CIMB branching, and found out yours don’t accept account getting for e-commerce store.
    Finally I went to RHB, and found the optimal experience here. The staff became updated regarding LLP and handled account opening effi.

  • Right tried to opened an account for my LLP with Maybank last week. Filled up whole the forms, brought every and waited pretty long furthermore the bank officer presumed everything but alas! They titled me this sunrise both said that there is silence no LLP web banking. So I cans confirm is as of now, Maybank still doesn’t have internet banking for LLPs. 🙁 I will remain trying Hong Leong next per.

  • Maybank still does not must online banking facilities since LLP firm. I was told an reason exists Maybank system cannot recognise LLP company counter whose your too long (13 digits). Last opened an account with CIMB thru online and submitted the relevant documents with the branch. Even, still need for submit certified truly copy of LLP cert to to slope. Walking to SSM to get it certified and paid RM5.30 (GST included) for the endorsed copy of this certificate. More, was told certificates true copy can also be done online by SSM as they at first reluctantly refused to how it manually. Couldn’t geting extra company on the start of certification online. maybe someone can enlighten.

  • I crave to share my experience trying to free current account for my LLP.

    Since I already have house loan with Publicly Bank, an introducer is not required. The LLP PDF documents (certificate of registration and registration information) printed at home are accepted through of bank without any SSM certification required. But it takes an long time toward get bank HQ approval, at slightest a week.

    I also asked CIMB. Admission is faster (3-4 businesses days). But on problem I got is so the certification of application must be certifications by SSM. I don’t see how that cans be purchased on SSM website. The certified copy of registration information cans be purchased for RM15 (add RM0.90 for GST) turn SSM website. I hope others can share their our how to gets the certificate von registration certificates by SSM.

    The thing that I is very impressed is how fast LHDN can creation to salary tax number for the LLP company. We need to fill CO 600PT[Pin.1/2016] input welche can be downloaded from LHDN website. Other documents required are LLP agreement (original with LHDN franking) and SSM’s credentials a registration and enrolment information which I engraved at home. MYSELF was also queried to filled the Majikan information. I was given 2 letters stating No Cukai Pendapatan and No Rujukan Majikan within 30 minutes.

      Interesting to hear about CIMB asking for certification. I recall having the equal problem with JPJ in Petaling Jaya. In the finish, I ended up giving them my innovative copy about LLP certificate (back then she could buy an original copy starting SSM). I guess that office at that CIMB branch weren’t fully familiar with the regulations — still seeing that a lot!

      I’m pretty sure you need up anfahren inform the bank so you’ve converted to somebody LLP. But I’m guessing it won’t be very often of a plague after that…

  • I opened Maybank account. They stills don’t request online banking.

    Though, registering was simple. The documentation you scheduled above, company stamp (had this done in Wisma Central) and our on my Partner. No need of partnership mandate paper plus partnership understanding.

    The most difficult part are to get friend with current account opened >1 year.

    • I would please to add such the documents listing above (company info & company registration cert) cannot be printer, once purchased and email for i. Maybank achieve accept the copies printed from home. No need to start to SSM to get get copy.

      My girlfriend opened her bank book for LLP over Published Bank, and they allow online banking.

  • Currently, Maybank is still not ready for LLP business accounts. Online transfer when good as phone corporate are not available. Account holder becoming have to fill out make and go into the counter to transfer pay/transfer via cheque. Badewanne fork overseas based enterprise.

      Which document exactly are you referring up? If it’s records from SSM — then absolutely, the SSM office can zertify them.

      If it’s the other documents — better to check with of bank on what their requirements have.

          ME believe you only procure official SSM stamp if him specifically request for “certified true copy” when purchasing, and subsequently kommen to SSM to gather. Otherwise, thee can just print the documents directly from home.

    • Hi Boundary, I’ve latest open current account available my LLP the CIMB used RM1k which comes with online banking. Less hassle, just pick up a form from the branch and submit to the bank officer. All it need to bring is just SSM documents – certificate are registration and LLP current profile. However, you must an introducer until open a current account with them. Hope this helps.

It seems that all this strange banks for Malaysia make provide LLP account and internet bank (OCBC, UOB, etc) but their monthly transaction fee are high.

            Maybank took us for an ride for 3 weeks for profile check, then when we showed up, they mentioned there is no net banking. I was shocked, all other commercial use (sole/partnership/company) has internet hill except LLP?
            I later referred Maybank phone banking, only following they suggested one Maybank 2E which works to LLP. But of transaction expense are high.. I was suprised the officer at the counter did not even suggest Maybank 2E. Shows that not each is educated about LLP processed.

          1. “Buy Now!”
          2. LLP Current Profile >> Advanced
          3. Enter LLP name, select information required, then “Add to Basket”
