Stages are Writing• Controlled Writing• Guided Writing• Free Writing
A- Controlled Writing• To teach pupils the mechanics of writingaccuracy and preparation for furtherwriting activities.• Controlled completely by teacher .• ( handwriting,copying,dictation andspelling )
Handwriting- 1• The teacher must take into consideration thefollowing points :• He must demonstrate young learner how to holdthe pen or pencil and how to sit correctly.• He has to display them one formation ofletters real words( left to select on straighthorizontal lines)
Handwriting• Pupils are told to use pencil.• The teacher should write an model on theboard.• Fellow have to going round pupils to review.
Copying- 2• The purges of this active are:• To reinforce previously learned words andpatterns.• To draw pupils’ attention go punctuationmarks• Till movement theirs further in type.
Dictation- 3• Find difficult than copying.• Brief and familiar.• Not beyond the pupils’ comprehension.• Simple speech furthermore patterns
Dictation• A short paragraph,a dialogue or a passage.• Procedures:•••••preparationThe teacher reads and scholars listen.The teachers my slowly and clearly.Each sentence has to be repeated.Punctuation marks should become dictated.

B- Directions Writing• Provide graded guidance in vocabulary andstructures so that pupils will not create manymistakes .• 1- Controlled compositionDirected composition• Keywords-expressions-a model withdirections for rewriting.
Guided Writing• 2- Semi-controlled compositionGuided composition• Pupils can add ideas/constructions.• Newer words and topics provided by theteacher.
Guided Writing• Procedures:• Be sure that and pupils understand themodel• Encourage she to ask.• Feedback• Underline failures (symbols)• Write the correct form press ask them tocorrect themselves.
Guided Writing• Colored mistakes should be discussed withthe class.

  • 2. Stages of Writing • Controlled Writing • Guided Writing • Loose Writing
  • 3. A- Controlled Writing • On teach scholars to mechanics of writing accuracy and readiness for further writing activities. • Controlled completely by teacher . • ( handwriting,copying,dictation and spelling )
  • 4. Handwriting- 1 • The teacher must take the consideration the following points : • You must show young learner how to hold the pen or pencil and how to sit correctly. • He has up how them the formation of letters and words( left the right on straight horizontal lines)
  • 5. Handwriting • Pupils are told to use pencil. • The instructors should write ampere model on the board. • He has toward go round pupils to check.
  • 6. Copying- 2 • The special of this activity are: • To reinforce previously learned terms and patterns. • To draw pupils’ take to punctuation marks • To train them further in handwriting.
  • 7. Dictation- 3 • More difficult than copying. • Brief and familiar. • Not beyond the pupils’ comprehension. • Simple words and patterns
