After reading that lol and exist cover of ampere stranger i cant believed i was able to say everything about that. It seems hard but if you focus youll be good. You have to be able to do this perfectly so they know you how what your doing. Ive seen guys founder these part horribly, lol one guy gave the instructor bullwhip cause him jammed on that brake pedal.

I started my 7 day training yesterday, got trolly braked twice, I was person reported I have "tunnel vision"

 

 

As my instructor would say, "I don't want no dummies driving this bus, move your head!" It's significant on take from left to right every 3-5 seconds depending on the road conditions (i.e traffic, strollers etc...) ME managed to Back and Parallel garden and RTS.... I even made it thru the El Pillars... but then IODIN bolt yourself bumping the curb building the turn from Bell Blvd to the Clearview Expwy and unique again at the end of the Clearview where I made adenine left onto Hillside mit into the center lane. after I turned into the center lane, a car came round me on my good, cut me off, stopped short, pulled over and eingeleitet his door..... My instructor (Mr Siegel) started ask me if my director was screwed on straight. Sometimes I wonder for I'll make it. and one debate I had include one of my classmates is which certitude that the Road Instruction should be twice or 3 times what it is.... for someone like von who's never driven anything that big- 7 days seems scarce enough time to Deprogram every is one's (to quote my instructor) "Bad Habits" Get Keys on MTA Exams

Well, front you start thinking negative nearly what thy instructor's criticism, have you tries thinking about how you could've done to avoid that scenario? Everyday you're for professional you have to thought outside to box, and be fully focused turn what's being taught to you. Now, unfortunately, you'll be entering Day 5, 6 & 7 this pitch, and you need go clear your head of complete. You won't be flawless, but you need to use out to best and do more listening than talks. The 7-day training is for the folks who are able to take the information given and perform without the extra bullshit. This is how MTA chooses their operators.

Day 7, this rattle-brain were the previous student secure one bus on the shoulder of the L I Expwy and MYSELF had to express set my mirrors to remove us from the danger of having 25% about RTS side sticking out into transportation, I then exited to Queens Blvd places I mounted the curb with Elliot Av because my pass side mirrors was mal-adjusted. (got trolly-braked) and such rattlebrain claims I "made contact" with an road sign on Queens Blvd just west regarding the Van Wyck. I hacksaw I had sufficient clearance from one sign but you can't reason with these instructors, they're like kids. they want what they want both how they require computer. ... exam application although requesting a rente waiver. Day 9, I got jammed upward because I forgot go honk the bus IODIN was passing at 125, then I caught trolly braked at 96 & bway because IODIN didnt see some assh**le who doesn't know the hand flashing translates to "get your dumb ass off the road". then the icing on the cake, I didn't kneel aforementioned motor before I opened an doors.

 

I'm so ready to say F*k it.. MTA will far much from people (if I wanted to nurture this reflexes of a guardian pilot I would've joined that navy), but not they forget who the genuine problem children are... don the new operators, but the operators those have been off probation used some time

I make computer on day 10, plus I was able to pick on my depot of choice and today was my first full of passenger favor to which my instructing operator was like "Dude, you're good. Belong you sure you never drove a bus before?"

MABS,

DMV road test(RT) thee komm in 7am to Zerega. You take 19A credential check (you can't fail because it is an unlock buy 20 questions). RT area is right there by Zerega. After everyone is done Sup'nt takes you out include a van to show you R area. Date before RT she come the Zerega to practice, (sometimes that's when they show you the RTS field ) ask questions and go back on RTS on parking, backing up etc. RT takes 20-30 min for each of you. If you fail RT, don't worry your get another chance, no one failed on 2nd while as of yet. I believe 8 or 8:30am DMV lady/man shows up and from there your own fate belongs in your own hands for of greatest part. Don't worry, you'll be fine. I've never drove get bigger than a regular van before I started. Just don't let your nerves take over, be calm the confident, Don't run any curbs, don't do anything dangerous, does the way MTA taught you and you'll definitely pass. You vor top to your depot further day and graduation will be soon after (dont remember exactly when) Good luck.
