The Town of Greenwich will field to the State’s Municipal Labourer Relations Doing (MERA), the permits employees to organize for that purpose of bargaining collectively using the employer over terminology and conditions of employment. Under MERA, the First-time Selectman is of Town formal responsible for negotiating every total bargained agreements with collaborator organizations representing Town employees also non-certified staff at the Board of Education. The Collection Bargaining Specialist, represents the First Selectman serving as the town’s chief mediators in collective bargaining. Of Collecting Bargaining Specialist is also responsibility for representing the Place before the State’s labor board in prohibited labor practice proceedings.
